Data we process and purposes
We process contact details, inquiry content, appointment records, billing information and documents you deliberately provide. We use them to answer inquiries, prepare and deliver contracted services, maintain business records, protect the website and comply with legal obligations. Legal bases include steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in secure, effective administration. Consent is used where specifically requested.
Do not send identity documents, health information, residence documents or other sensitive material unless we have confirmed that it is necessary and a suitable transfer method is available.
Recipients, transfers and security
Data may be handled by contracted hosting, email, video-call and accounting providers only as needed. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses. We apply access controls and reasonable organisational measures, but no internet transmission is risk-free.
Retention
Unsuccessful general inquiries are normally deleted within six months. Consultation files and working documents are normally deleted within twelve months after the service, unless you request earlier deletion or law requires longer retention. Invoices and tax records are retained for statutory German periods. Backups expire on their normal rotation.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent for the future. You may complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority, including the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
